Today is my boy's 10th birthday. It is amazing that he's been roaming the earth this long. It doesn't seem like that much time has passed and yet it has. And tomorrow, he'll be a grown-ass man...
Time flies when you're raising kids! It's fun, but not the kind of fun, say playing basketball with your friends, it's more a roller-coaster kinda fun...aren't sure of the twists and turns, some parts make one feel a bit ill, it's thrilling and exciting and scary and when it's over (it's never over) one is compelled to do it again. Ha! No way, factory is closed here, but I know this is an experience that I'll never walk away from; never regret a moment of it, though I may have some guilt over mistakes. I've learned a lot and grown wiser raising my kids; they've taught me a much and reminded me of wonder and mystery. Beautiful.
