Anyways...

Guin and I made a trip to the library. She has a project for Black History Month; she decided on Rosa Parks. I found a couple of good books to settle into.
We just got a bunch of movies in yesterday and we're slowly watching them today:
Vanity Fair - I now want to read the book so's I can rag on the movie. I love period pieces though and it was pretty.
Dawn of the Dead (2004); Unrated Version - AWESOME! I was really surprised. Very well done, funny, and the FX were rockin'. Of course, you don't get involved with ANY of the characters...except maybe Andy. One of the most multi-talented in the horror/sci-fi genre, and a fave of mine, Tom Savini was in it.
Shaun of the Dead - A snore after watching Dawn of the Dead. Very much a spoof-type thing from the original 1978 Dawn of the Dead. One small difference: I thought that 1978DotD was funny.
Murder By Death - 1973 Mystery spoof of famous characters in mystery novels. It was still funny almost 32 years later.

Saw a preview to Unleashed. Jet Li, Morgan Freeman, Bob Hoskins are in it. Jet Li, mm-mm, you know he's callin' to me.
