HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
WOW NEW YEAR'S EVE WAS SO FUN!!! We don't have cable TV (we can't afford it *smile*), and so everyone had different times on their watches and the people who have atomic watches were challenging the people with analog and digital. So B- dispelled it by calling time. Christy, B- and I were standing next to the speaker phone and: At the tone the time will be 12:00 exactly. *boop* We hesitated and yelled...the atomic fools were still countin' down. hahaha, it was a great time. People everywhere on every floor and outside. Confetti is everywhere and I don't want to clean it up until next year! Everyone was so generous with what they brought. I made chili, baked ziti and bbq chicken. Hope, who is the Ziti lover, pronounced it reeaal gooood. Logan, her boy aged 2, had 2 bowls by himself! Apparently, my chili has a kick, which scientists are finding is good for metabolism, but others were reachin' for their drinks. It doesn't flame...until about half-way thru your bowl. Good chinese red pepper! Introduced some family to Tuaca! I love it; Hope and Bill made me like it. I had 5 shots throughout the night...yummm. No after effects, which is always good. I almost messed up because I hadn't eaten anything but a muffin for breakfast with coffee. So after 2 shots I felt pretty buzzed. Delicious food folks brought: Fried Broccoli Chocolate-covered toffee or Toffee-covered chocolate. Pasta-primavera w/shrimp Macaroni and cheese Vegetable Tray Danish Butter Cookies Very much a success and a wonderful group of friends and family to ring in the New Year! holla@me
