Be very very wary purchasing anything from Magnetic Therapy Sales Specialists, Inc.
My name is Amber C I cannot say how frustrated and idiotic I feel at this time. After sending me an e-mail (attached) stating that I only need send back the bracelet, now after 5 weeks I am being told by the Owner of Magnetic Therapy Sales that because Q-Ray will not give them a refund, they will not replace my product. I have stated over and over to them that it is not the product, it was their poor shipping that I feel made the product inferior. I am now being told that they send all their Q-Ray products 2nd day air and that I am lying! Hap - MTSS shipped the old bracelet back to me, unbelievably wrapped with care in a 2nd day air pad pak from UPS, the old crushed box wrapped in bubble paper. Oddly enough, we did not receive 2nd day air status in our original purchase; even Hap stated that the order was placed 12/19/2003 though we didn’t get it until 12/24/2003. As I wrote before, it was sent Ground in an un-insulated plastic envelope. I trusted this company would do what they stated and now I feel foolish and that I’ve lost my husband’s hard earned money. I am sending this information to you. I hope that this will help in that no one else will have to feel cheated with a bad-name given to Q-Ray products. They deal with all of our distributors and if the guarantee is not being honored, they need to be aware. Please include the name and website of the distributor and your name and information. THank you. Hap, I contacted Q-Ray as well. I was told that they have a guarantee because it doesn’t always work for everyone. I would like to either switch to a new bracelet or get a refund. Even if it wasn’t shipped closely to something magnetic, the directions state not to have it in contact with metal or electrical objects. I am suspicious that it has been in contact with metal as it was out of its protective pouch and floating around in the un-insulated plastic envelope. I do believe the half-dozen or so friends and family that say they feel an electric sensation when they put it on. This didn’t happen for me. I am not sleeping any better. I do not have “more” energy. I am unsatisfied. Thanking you in advance, -----Original Message----- From: A&B Sent: Tuesday, January 20, 2004 6:21 PM To: heather@qray.com Subject: RE: x-small silver standard You are right. My husband did not purchase though Q-Ray. Right now, the company that he got it from doesn’t seem to want to honor the guarantee or give an exchange but more to push me into getting magnets through them. And not even at a discount! There are all kinds of situations that are possible, but the product not being ionized is most likely not one of them. There is that possibility that the product could have been closely shipped to something that had magnetic powers, but doubtful. Some people may take as long as 4 weeks to get acclimated to the Q-Ray, what worked best for me was this method, right arm in the day and left arm at night when I went to bed. I was also in a auto accident, rear ended, and I personally have used magnets to alleviate my discomfort. This is after 5 years of taking fiorinals, or fiorecets, everyday to accommodate the pain. They (pills) literally changed my personality into a grumpy person, and I decided to experiment. I would suggest trying mag dots directly on the pained area (everyday), as this is what actually took my pain away (I also sleep on a magnetic mattress pad) but now I don't have to wear the magnets everyday just sleeping on the pad. I feel as if they almost repaired my back. This is obviously a personal diagnosis but who's better than me to tell if my back and neck hurt. I tried the Q-Ray and I can say that I slept better and felt a little more energetic but it did not take the pain away in direct areas like the magnets do. Here's a link about the magnets the size that I used, and am still using for other aches and pains: https://www.magnetictherapysales.com/ProdDisplay.asp?cname=B%2E+50X2MM+SPOT+MAG%2DGOLD I hope this helps, Hap<<<< -----Original Message----- From: Qray Customer Service [mailto:heather@qray.com] Sent: Monday, January 19, 2004 10:16 AM To: ab Subject: RE: x-small silver standard I have read through your letter and I would like to thank you for choosing Q-Ray. However I was unable to locate and order in our system under your information. This leads me to believe that your bracelet was probably purchased through one of our distributors, online. Our distributors process all of their own returns or exchanges. You would need to contact them regarding this. However, not everyone benefits from the bracelet which is why we offer a guarantee. Also, the bracelet has a memory for it's owner. It is possible the bracelet was used to you wearing it. I would suggest to contact the distributor the bracelet was purchased through and see if you are still in the window for an exchange. Thank you. -----Original Message----- From: A&B Sent: Saturday, January 17, 2004 7:31 PM To: customercare@QRay.com Subject: x-small silver standard RE: Authentic No 2175359 I have been suffering from chronic pain ever since March 1, 2002 when I was rear-ended in a motor vehicle accident. My husband, detesting my discomfort, wanted to relieve it. He knows quite a few people that swear by ionized or magnetic bracelets. For about 6 months, he has been researching the best company/product to buy and chose Q-Ray. He ordered online. He made it a Christmas present. I wore it, first on my right hand, terminals up, and then after 2 days, switched to my left hand, terminals down. I have not had relief. As disappointed as my husband was, I told him that it was a nice bracelet…not necessarily $80 worth though. However, today I went out with one of my girlfriends that I haven’t seen in a long time and she was very upset by my pain too. She mentioned an ionized bracelet, specifically Q-Ray, and said that she has friends that swear by them too. I flashed mine from my wrist and told her I didn’t feel different. She says that she has tried them, even cheap ones, and she feels and effect immediately. Her description was an electric current starting at her arm and traveling through her body. She also says that she gets dizzy and that she has to condition herself wearing it. I asked her to try mine on. As soon as she put it on, she said she didn’t feel anything. After about 5 minutes, she said she barely felt it. It was her idea to get in contact with Q-Ray about this. The packaging it was sent was in a plastic, un-insulated envelope. The bracelet box inside was crushed and the bracelet, still sealed in its plastic, was floating around in the envelope. I was wondering being that this was ordered online and sent mail, badly packaged; if it was on metal and possibly magnetized going through the US Postal Service? I would really like to be able to claim that a Q-Ray bracelet at least alleviated some of the pain I am in. Of course, my goal is to have NO MORE pain! Can you please help me to come to a conclusion on this? Sincerely, Amber C holla@me |
